  • I'm on Windows 8.1, just got RA2/YR off Origin from the free promotion, but when I load the game, after the intro cinematics it brings me to a main menu with no buttons and I'm forced to alt-tab and end task. Still getting stuck on the menu screen with the music and animations but no menu buttons. Posted by 6 days ago.
  • Although the ALT+TAB functionality does not work. Download the files needed to apply the fix from below. Download C&C Red Alert 2 Compatibility Fix 2. Install the compatibility database by opening it's folder and double clicking the file called 'Double Click Me'.

I followed all the instructions here to the letter, but while playing the campaign, every 2 minutes minimum the game just freezes. Audio and everything works and the game is still going on, but it's simply unplayable. This is the ultimate collection version and I'm playing on Windows 10 Edited January 2, 2018 by Jacen Solo.
